"Tim went above and beyond his duty during our annual air conditioner maintenance check-up yesterday, diagnosing the propane leak that we have been trying to resolve for more than a year.
He arrived at our home after the plumber had been unable to identify the source of ta strong odor, similar to sewer gas. As I greeted Tim, I expressed my frustration at our failure to identify the source of our stinky-smelling basement. Tim immediately offered to take a quick look, and within thirty seconds, said we had a propane leak. He tested the water heater hook-up with a soapy water solution, and showed the plumber, who ultimately made the necessary repair.
The water heater repair was not Doty's responsibility, but Tim stepped up and helped us resolve what was an unpleasant and potentially dangerous situation. We greatly appreciate Tim and the culture of service and helpfulness that you have obviously ingrained in your staff.

Will arrived at 10 pm on that holiday and fixed the transformer giving me heat at 11:00 p.m. On December 26th something else "shorted" out and Will returned at 9:30 a.m. and stayed for almost 6 hours troubleshooting the "short" (which was like attempting to find a needle in a haystack). Will found the problem and the furnace began providing heat again. "Last fall I purchased a heat pump from Doty Mechanical. I decided to go with their less-expensive secondary brand. Unfortunately, I have experienced several problems with it. Each time I called they immediately responded with a service call and fixed the problem... I mentioned that I wished I had spent the extra money and purchased their main brand unit. The next day I received a call from them informing me that they wanted happy satisfied customers. If I would be willing to pay the difference in cost as stated on the original quote, they would absorb the labor cost of removing the secondary brand heat pump and installing a new primary brand name one. This was even more than I hoped for.

Their staff is all very professional and courteous and my experience with them has been extremely positive.

Needless to say, I am very pleased with Doty Mechanical and would highly recommend them for anyone who has heating, air conditioning, or heat pump needs."
